Sill-O-Matic
Creating water tight window assemblies is critical when building or remodeling a home. A "new" approach to window installation involves using a piece of beveled siding, a ripped 1x and shims or the same beveled siding cut down to create a level surface for the window to sit on but a sloped pan below the shims for water drainage. This is typically field constructed.
We felt that a simple product could be designed an developed so that you simply trim the product to fit your assembly and install. In image 1 you can see the current way. In image 2 & 3 you can see the prototypes in two different material types.
